WHEN GOD TRUST YOU

Mengapa kita PERLU hidup ber-integritas, SEMENTARA kebanyakan orang tidak melakukannya, tapi hidup mereka baik-baik saja?

Sebenarnya simply karena: 

Tuhan pernah menyatakan orang yang bersih hidupnya, akan Ia pelihara

Ams 10:9
He who walks uprightly walks SECURELY, but he who takes a crooked way shall be FOUND OUT and PUNISHED. - AMP

Namun, percayakah kita atas perkataan Tuhan mengenai ini?
 

Character is the foundation of life. Karakter dibangun dengan perbuatan, bukan perkataan. Sementara itu, integritas adalah bahan baku membangun karakter.
 
Karena itu, seringkali kita mendengar ungkapan; "Can you WALK the TALK?"
 

Karenanya, seseorang dianggap berintegritas ketika

Perbuatan = Perkataan

Yak 1: 21-26
 21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. 22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.
26 Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues DECEIVE themselves, and their religion is WORTHLESS. - NIV

Confidence ketika kita bisa mengatakan "I trust myself"....dan kita hanya bisa percaya kepada diri kita jika perbuatan  kita SUDAH sesuai dgn perkataan.

Mikha 6: 9-11
9 Dengarlah, Tuhan berseru kepada kota:
-- adalah bijaksana untuk takut kepada nama-Nya --:
“Dengarlah, hai suku bangsa dan orang kota!
10 Masakan Aku melupakan harta benda kefasikan di rumah orang fasik
dan takaran efa yang kurang dan terkutuk itu?
11 Masakan Aku membiarkan tidak dihukum
orang yang membawa neraca palsu atau pundi-pundi berisi batu timbangan tipu?

Kita mungkin seringkali bergumul untuk menjalani hidup berintegritas karena melihat mereka yang melakukan kefasikan hidupnya baik-baik saja.

Ada dua hal yang seringkali manusia gagal pahami bahwa:

1) Apa yang sekarang terlihat baik-baik saja hanya secuplik dari keseluruhan cerita. Sehingga apa yang terlihat baik-baik di awal, belum tentu berakhir baik-baik. Manusia terbatas oleh ruang dan waktu, sementara Tuhan tidak.
 
2) Reward and punishment Tuhan tidak langsung kelihatan.

Tuhan menginginkan manusia hidup kudus demi kebaikan manusia itu sendiri. Sesuatu yang murni pasti lebih bernilai dibanding yang tidak. Larangan Tuhan semata-mata untuk melindungi manusia, bukan untuk menghalangi.

Bagi Tuhan, melakukan kebenaran saja tidak cukup. Hati manusia senang ketika melakukan sesuatu yg benar.

Ams 21: 2-3
2  Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs and tries the hearts. 3  To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - MSG
Yer 17: 9
The heart is deceitful above all things
and beyond cure.
Who can understand it? - NIV

Mzm 24: 1-6
1 The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it;
2 for he founded it on the seas
and established it on the waters.
3 Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD?
Who may stand in his holy place?
4 The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.
5 They will receive blessing from the LORD
and vindication from God their Savior.
6 Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek your face, God of Jacob.
Mzm 15: 1-5
1 LORD, who may dwell in your sacred tent?
Who may live on your holy mountain?
2 The one whose walk is blameless,
who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from their heart;
3 whose tongue utters no slander,
who does no wrong to a neighbor,
and casts no slur on others;
4 who despises a vile person
but honors those who fear the LORD;
who keeps an oath even when it hurts,
and does not change their mind;
5 who lends money to the poor without interest;
who does not accept a bribe against the innocent.
Whoever DOES these things
will NEVER BE shaken.

Confidence adalah ketika kita percaya pd diri sendiri. Kredibilitas adlh ketika org lain percaya pd kt. Integritas adlh ketika Tuhan percaya pdmu.

WHAT IS DOMINANT THOUGHT OF GOD ABOUT YOU?

3 Yoh 1:2
Beloved, I pray that you may PROSPER in ALL things and be in health, just as your SOUL prospers.- NKJV

Setelah bertahun-tahun hidup bersama Yesus, Yohanes merasakan kelimpahan dari segala aspek dan karenanya berharap sahabat-sahabatnya bisa merasakan hal yg sama.

John 10:10
The thief does not come except to STEAL, and to KILL, and to DESTROY. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. - NKJV

Iblis akan berusaha mencuri segalanya  dari manusia. Membunuh sukacita, semangat,antusias kita dalam Tuhan, perkawinan, nilai-nilai hidup, dan segala hal2 yg baik.

Amsal 23:7
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. - NKJV

As you THINK, then you will BECOME. Karena itu, pernahkah kita berpikir apa yg kita sedang pikirkan saat ini?
Your dominant thoughts will DRIVE your decision and ultimately DETERMINE your destiny WHETHER you like it or not.

Kita hidup dalam dunia yang berusaha mendikte kita tentang apa yang harus kita pikirkan. Butuh hikmat untuk menfilter pikiiran apa saja yg kita IJINkan masuk dalam kepala kita.
Kita tidak perlu hidup dengan pintu pikiran yang terbuka untuk SEMUA hal masuk dalam hidup. Kita tidak bisa mengontrol siapa yang mengetok pintu pikiran kita, tapi kita bisa mengontrol siapa yangg kita ijinkan masuk.

Roma 12:2
1-2 So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering.

Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it WITHOUT even THINKING. Instead, FIX your attention on God. You'll be CHANGED from the inside out. - MSG

Readily recognize what he WANTs from you, and quickly RESPOND to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God BRINGs the best out of you, DEVELOPs well-formed maturity in you.
Kita bisa meningkatkan level berpikir kita, tidak harus sama dengan dunia.
Ketika Iblis mencoba menyerang Yesus, ia tidak berusaha menyerang fisikNya,  tapi dlm pikiran Yesus dahulu. Melalui kata2, Iblis menyerang Yesus. Termasuk manusia
Iblis selalu menyerang ketika kita merasa rentan, rapuh, dan lemah. Itulah saat terbaik utk menutup "pintu pikiran" kita terhadap hal-hal negatif yang dibawa Iblis.

Setiap orang Kristen harus sadar bahwa mereka adalah putra-putri Allah, dan karenanya mereka tidak perlu merespon hal-hal yang tidak penting yang ditawarkan dunia kepada mereka seperti: kebencian, amarah, kesombongan, keserakahan, dan hawa nafsu.
Kita bisa MEMILIH tentang apa yang kita pikirkan, tapi itu tergantung bagaimana standing kita merespon pikiran itu.
Let your FIGHTING standing be your NORMAL standing.- Bruce Lee
Fighting standing akan membantu kita memfilter pikiran negatif yang berusaha Iblis bawa ke dalam pikiran manusia.

Filipi 4:8
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is TRUE, whatever is NOBLE, whatever is RIGHT, whatever is PURE, whatever is LOVELY, whatever is ADMIRABLE—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—THINK about such things - NIV

Pikiran kita sangat menentukan arah dan kualitas kehidupan kita. Karenanya, kita benar-benar harus berhati-hati tentang apa yang kita pikirkan.

 
Pertanyaaan terbesarnya: apa yang menjadi dominant thought of God about human?

Yeremia 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to PROSPER you and not to harm you, plans to GIVE you HOPE and a FUTURE.- NIV

Apa yang menjadi pikiran dominan Tuhan? Masa dpn kita!

Mat 6:25
"Therefore I tell you, do not WORRY about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life MORE than food, and the body more than clothes? - NIV

Karena itu, Yesus ingin kita jauh dari rasa cemas karena Ia selalu menyertai hidup kita, baik diminta atau tidak.
Apapun masalah, pergumulan, tantangan kita saat ini..hendaklah kita yakin bahwa bersama Tuhan semua itu bisa kita atasi since:  He is able.
